Bioregional, Small-Batch & Farm-to-garden apothecary

Earthlings Among Us weaves traditions of ancestral remembrance, earth reverence, soft power, and kinship via plant + fungal medicine to return home to ourselves and the wider world.

Co-created with the spirit of Earth medicine to support the mind, body, emotion, and spirit for personal, ancestral, and collective liberation.

Plantitas are lovingly grown (always organic + regenerative gardening techniques) & gathered from our small home garden on the unceded and traditional lands of Cayuse, Umatilla, Walla Walla, Clackamas, Cowlitz, Kalapuya, Multnomah, Wasco, Bands of Chinook, Kathlamet, Molalla, and many other indigenous communities (past, present, future) -- aka Portland, OR. We give deep gratitude to the stewards of this land before us and generations ahead.

A land acknowledgment is a way to practice naming the original caretakers & stewards of the land before colonization and a way to acknowledge their wider story and continued presence. If you’d like to learn more about the land you live on check out this map of Indigenous lands. Note, that we must work beyond naming the original stewards and people of the land, such as supporting and uplifting their voices, and concerns, and respecting the bodies of wisdom they hold.

Globally, Indigenous kinfolk are at the front lines experiencing socio-political and ecological hardships, and ongoing threats to their quality of life & right to self-determination. It is our responsibility to lean forward with curiosity, challenge our biases, educate ourselves, and fight/protect alongside them. The work is ongoing, fluid, humbling, and vital for all of life.

Remembering Ourselves Whole

Our offering is a living prayer dedicated to sensitives, creatives, dreamers, marginalized, and stewards to feel rooted and connected to their multidimensional identity as they cultivate reverence for their self, innate medicine, land, and the wider world. The spirit of earth & plant medicine allows us to navigate this evolving terrain via slowness, making way for us to reclaim our connection to our sacred truth.

It is through the slowness of re-membering ourselves home and being in relationship with earth’s (nonlinear) rhythm - seen and unseen ways - that our inherent connection to all of creation, our ancestors, and reason for being is awakened. Rooting our connection to earth and body, tending our sacred waters and emotions, and following the constellations of our spirit + heart is part of the sacred instructions that remind us how to be in a reciprocal relationship with body and spirit (in these challenging times of being human).

UNLOCKING YOUR OWN PORTAL

Plant medicine is allowed to travel deep within once you are open to accept your own magic, realizing you have power as a co-creator in this wider world. May you feel safe and have the courage to trust in the process. Plant medicine invites us to turn inward to witness our wholeness, unlocking what is keeping us stuck, reclaim the resiliency and soft power within our bones, blood, and ancestry, and support our body and spirit to process, transform, and lead with ease. When you are ready, these offerings will unlock a gateway for your own homecoming; a sense of belonging and interconnectedness within the living world and within your sacred body. May the earthlings among us continue to ignite warmth in our hearts and soul, rekindle ancestral and plant remembrances, and nurture the wild grace of our being and our own medicine.

Hola ~ Salaam, I am so happy you are here~

My name is Jennyfer, aka Jenny. Pronouns: They/She.

I am a first-generation so-called U.S.-born, raised in Nicaragüense & Palestinian household. I am the medicine maker, steward, and seer behind Earthlings Among Us.

My intention as an herbalist and medicine maker is to support your journey of transcendence. I created this platform to offer herbal remedies, as they can reawaken the profound wisdom of our power & resilience while cultivating love for ourselves and the wider world. I feel that plant relatives are wonderful space holders for de-programming, healing, grieving, and reclaiming remembrance of our own innate healing and magical abilities.

My work revolves around intuition, working with my hands (as my ancestors have), and connecting with my inner and outer ecology.

A lot of times when I am working with plants or simply taking a walk around the neighborhood or forest, I feel a sense of belonging and inspiration by the magic animated by the earthly creatures, the unfurling flowers, the bursting fungi, the rolling winds, the swaying trees, the vast sky, twinkling stars, the stones, the cleansing waters, etc. My enduring magic was reawakened in the misty green landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. In the midst of feeling displaced and disassociative, the forest revealed to me that I am accompanied by loving ancestors and guides. They showed me how deep healing takes place when I go inward into the deepest caverns within myself and surrender to discomfort. That through cultivating presence, I am able to tend to the marginalized parts of my being. I am here to reclaim ancestral ways of connecting to place, to my body, to my loved ones, to my greater community, and to the wider world.

My goal is to offer a portal where you can embark on healing through the heart of nature. The plant and fungi assist in awakening the innate healing of our bodies by nourishing the wells of our own inner ecosystem. May you feel inspired or initiated to reclaim and deepen your connection with Madre Tierra, her earthlings, and your wild roots.

The portal awaits...
